Emergency Towing
If your vehicle is disabled for any reason,
including an accident, Roadside Assistance will provide complimentary
towing to the nearest authorized GM dealership, to a maximum of 50 kilometres.
If there is no authorized GM dealership within 50 kilometres, your advisor
may provide alternative arrangements. For security reasons, we cannot
provide towing service for unattended vehicles.

Lockout Service
If you're locked out, Roadside Assistance
will help get you back in your vehicle and back on the road. If you can't
get into or start your vehicle because your key is lost, broken or locked
inside your vehicle, Roadside Assistance will dispatch assistance or arrange
to have the vehicle taken to the nearest authorized GM dealership. Or,
if you first call Roadside Assistance for authorization, we'll reimburse
you for locksmith services.
Maximum coverage for lockout services is $100.
An original receipt is required for reimbursement. To ensure security,
the driver must present the vehicle registration and personal identification
before lockout service is provided.

Flat Tire Change
Flat tire? If you can supply an inflated spare
in good condition, Roadside Assistance will send someone to change it
for you.

Jump-Start Service
Dead battery? Whatever the reason, your Roadside
Assistance coverage means that someone will be on hand to give you a jump-start.

Emergency Fuel Service
Miles from anywhere and out of gas? We'll
arrive with enough to get you on your way (approximately 10 litres). Both
service and gas are complimentary.

Trip Interruption Expense Assistance
If your vehicle is disabled, the problem is
warranty related and you are over 250 kilometres from your point of departure,
you may qualify for trip interruption expense assistance. Expense assistance
covers reimbursement for meals (maximum of $50 per day), lodging (maximum
of $100 per night) and alternate transportation (maximum of $40 per day).
There is a $500 maximum per occurrence. Trip interruption expense assistance
is intended to help you meet some of the unplanned expenses that you may
incur while you are waiting for your vehicle to be repaired.
To claim trip interruption expenses, you must
first call Roadside Assistance for pre-authorization, and you must submit
original detailed receipts. Your Roadside Assistance advisor will help
you make any necessary arrangements and explain how to claim trip interruption
expenses.
This Roadside Assistance benefit covers the
vehicle operator, regardless of ownership, and is in effect for the duration
of the new vehicle limited warranty. Commencing with 1993 models, Roadside
Assistance coverage applies to light trucks [1500 through 3500 series]
and passenger vehicles sold in Canada (except where other Roadside programs
already exist). A person driving the vehicle without the consent of the
owner is not eligible for coverage. The Roadside Assistance Centre reserves
the right to limit services or reimbursements to an owner or driver when,
in the advisor's judgement, the claims become excessive in frequency or
type.

Trip Routing Service
If you're planning a road trip, call Roadside
Assistance. We'll send you detailed, computer-personalized maps highlighting
your choice of either the most direct route or the most scenic route to
a destination anywhere in North America. We'll also send any helpful travel
information we may have pertaining to your trip.
To request this service, please call us toll
free at 1-800-268-6800. We'll make every attempt to send your materials
as quickly as possible, but it's best to allow three weeks before your
planned departure date. Trip routing requests are limited to six per calendar
year.

Alternate Service
Your Roadside Assistance service call is on
us. However, if we cannot provide timely assistance (for instance, because
of extreme weather conditions), your advisor may authorize you to secure
local emergency road service, and you will be reimbursed up to $100 when
you submit the original receipt to GM Roadside service.

Towing and Road Service Exclusions
Specifically excluded from Roadside Assistance
coverage are towing or services for vehicles operated off-road, fines,
impound towing caused by violation of local, municipal, provincial or
federal law and mounting, dismounting or changing of snow tires, chains
or other traction devices.
